So what’s the process?

1. You make first contact

Using the contact form, tell me a little about yourself, your proposed project, and which package you’re interested in. We can have a Skype chat to discuss the scope of your project and your proposed start date.

2. You complete a design spec

I’ll send you a pre-start pack, so you can tell me all about your business and target audience. Here you’ll also provide me with all of your design preferences, inspiration and any graphics/photos you’d like to use.

3. We chat about your project

A week before your project’s proposed start date, we’ll review your ideas and agree on a direction for the first draft. We’ll also make sure I have all pertinent information so I can hit the ground running on your start date.

4. I CREATE THE FIRST DRAFT

Before long, you’ll see the first draft, live for you to preview.

5. We review and tweak where necessary

Up to two rounds of revisions are included.

6. You receive your brand new site

Plus access to private tutorials and training videos.

FAQs

What do I need to have ready before we begin?

Your big, bold ideas! Plus all of the photos you’d like to use. Full copy can be added and changed later, but you’ll need to have a bare minimum of headings and sub-headings ready before we begin, so I can style them appropriately. Basically, you’ll need to come to the party prepped and raring to go!

I’ll send you a pre-start pack where you can tell me about your design preferences, and fill me in on all the pertinent details.

Do I need to organise a domain and web hosting myself?

Not necessarily. I’m happy to assist with securing your new domain name or setting up your WordPress web hosting.

I highly recommend WPEngine for web hosting, as they are dedicated WordPress host, have excellent support and have integrated website backups.

For securing domain names, I recommend GoDaddy.

What if I need to add pages or bonus features?

We can tailor your solution to your needs. Let me know what you’d like, and it can be added to the scope of your project.

Individually, extra bonus features and standard pages are $200. Additional page templates (fully styled) are $600. If you need multiple items, these can be bundled together to reduce the overall project cost.

Is there a limit on the amount of included copy or number of posts?

Yes. The included copy is limited to 1000 words per page, as this will influence how the page will be styled. More copy can be added and styled, at an additional cost. And of course, you can always add copy to your website yourself after project handover.

All of your existing blog posts will be migrated to your new website, however a maximum of 15 blog posts will be tested and adjusted where appropriate.

How does the payment plan work?

Once you’ve decided on a package and made contact, we’ll discuss the little details to make sure everything you need will be included in your project. I’ll provide you with a timeline and scheduled start date, and an invoice for the first payment. Your first payment will hold your scheduled start date.

The second payment is due 7 days before our scheduled start date.

The final payment is due once we’ve finished all revisions and you’re ecstatic with the final result, prior to receiving your finished website.

All prices are in AUD, exclusive of GST. Secure payment is made via Paypal.
